⚡ Safety First: Guidelines for a Great Trip

We want everyone to have an awesome and safe experience.

Here’s how:

Buddy System: No wandering off solo—especially during hikes and on the river.

Respect the Water: Life jackets required during all floating/canoeing activities.

Campfire Safety: Keep a safe distance from the fire, and only adults manage it.

Health Awareness: Let a leader know if you feel unwell or get injured.

Weather Smart: Be prepared for spring weather—rain gear and layers are essential.

Respect the Space: Leave campsites and church properties cleaner than we found them.

🌟 Expectations:

Serve with Excellence: Let’s represent Christ well through hard work and good attitudes.

Be Flexible: Plans can change—go with the flow and keep a positive vibe.

Include Others: No one left out. Be intentional about welcoming new friends.

Stay Safe: Follow all guidelines for service sites, travel, and camping.

Unplug a Bit: This is your chance to disconnect and be present—take it!

đź’¬ A Word for the Journey

"Let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth." —1 John 3:18

Spring Break can be a pause—or it can be a launch. This week, you have the chance to serve with your hands and from your heart. To step outside your normal routine and be part of something bigger. You’ll swing hammers, paddle rivers, hike trails—but more than that, you’ll build friendships, deepen your faith, and discover the rest that comes from stepping into God’s purpose. We’re going to work hard. We’re going to laugh hard. We’re going to rest well.

This is BASE+CAMP. Let’s go!
